Everything you need to know about PickWho
Is PickWho gambling?
No. PickWho is a free prediction game for entertainment purposes only. You never deposit money, place wagers, or risk any financial loss. There are no odds, spreads, or parlays. You simply pick which team you think will win.
How do I make picks?
Each week, you'll see upcoming games. Tap on the team you predict will win before the game starts. Once a game begins, that pick is locked and cannot be changed.
How does scoring work?
Correct picks earn points based on the day of the week (Central Time): Monday is worth 1 point, Tuesday 2, all the way up to Sunday at 7 points. The week builds toward Sunday, so later games carry more weight. Incorrect picks earn 0 points; tied/voided games (e.g., draws) don't count for or against you. You can also earn +1 contest point per day from each daily game, Daily Trivia and Higher or Lower. See below.
What are featured games?
Each day, an admin can mark one or more games as "featured"; these are typically the most interesting matchups. Correct picks on featured games earn double points. A correct pick on a Sunday featured game is worth 14 points (7 × 2). Featured games are visually highlighted on the picks screen with a gold border and badge.
What is Daily Trivia?
Every day at 10pm Central Time, PickWho posts a new multiple-choice sports trivia question. You have 15 seconds from when you reveal it to answer. Get it right and you earn +1 contest point, added to your weekly total alongside your game picks.
What is Higher or Lower?
Every day at 10pm Central Time, PickWho posts a stat and a number. You have 15 seconds to call whether the real value is higher or lower. Get it right and you earn +1 contest point. If you miss, you can take the other side after an unlock ad.
How does the Daily Trivia retry work?
If you get a question wrong, that option is greyed out and you can try again after the unlock ad, as many times as it takes to find the answer. The correct answer is shown once you pick it. To earn the +1 point you need to be correct AND watch the rewarded ad after answering (Premium subscribers don't see ads and still earn the point).
What happens if I run out of time on trivia?
The 15-second timer keeps things honest: long enough to think, short enough that you can't just go look up the answer. If time runs out before you pick, the attempt counts as a timeout and you can try again right away, with no unlock ad.
How does the daily streak work?
Your daily streak goes up by 1 each day you play both daily games, Daily Trivia and Higher or Lower (right OR wrong, showing up counts; if only one game is posted that day, that one is enough). Hit 7 days in a row and you bank a streak freeze, which covers you the next time you miss a day. You can bank up to 3. Streaks are separate from contest scoring and don't reset week to week.
How do I win prizes?
Each weekly contest has prizes for the top finishers, shown in the app. The player with the most points at the end of the contest week finishes first. Tiebreakers in order: (1) most correct picks, (2) most correct picks on Sunday, then Saturday, Friday, and so on down to Monday, (3) most correct contrarian picks (a correct pick on the side fewer than half of that game's pickers chose), (4) most Daily Trivia points, then most Higher or Lower points, (5) earliest final-day pick submission. Is the app really free?
Yes, PickWho is completely free to use. You can make unlimited picks and compete in all contests at no cost. We offer an optional premium subscription that removes ads when saving picks, but this is entirely optional. See the app for current pricing.
How is PickWho funded?
PickWho shows ads to free users. Ads help keep PickWho free for everyone. Premium subscribers support the app directly through their subscription.
Can I have multiple accounts?
No. Each user may have only one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and will result in termination of all accounts and disqualification from prizes.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account in the app, or by emailing info@pickwhoisfree.com from your account's email address. Deletion is permanent. It removes your picks, stats, leaderboard history, chat messages, and profile photo. If you received Rewards payouts, we keep the payout records and your picks and answers from weeks that had already ended, under an anonymous name.
